Composition
Ultra Lite concrete blocks are manufactured from high quality materials in one of the most modern plants in Canada. They are produced solely using expanded blast furnace slag which gives them exceptional technical characteristics unequalled by other products.
Sizes and shapes
The blocks or modular units have a face with nominal dimensions of 190 mm x 390 mm. Thicknesses range from 10 cm to 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm and 30 cm. We offer a range of standardized Ultra Lite units in regular and special shapes.
Standards
The products comply with Standard CSA 165.1m2004. Their characteristics exceed the characteristics defined in the quality assurance program of the Canadian Concrete Masonry Producers Association.
Limitations
The use of all Groupe MBM products is limited solely by their specifications and the requirements of the structures in which they are employed. Upon request and for a given product, the specifications can be adapted to meet the needs of a specific project.
